A Walk along Dong Khoi

Dong Khoi Street, Saigon

Notre Dame Cathedral, Saigon

Notre Dame Cathedral built in 1877, is a photogenic landmark of Saigon. All of the building materials were imported from France. The cathedral sits between two streams of traffic. Inside, the decor is austere, but the church is lively during services and is a popular location for wedding photos ;)

Local insight: In year 2005, the cathedral statue was reported to have shed tear, denied by the Catholic church clergy.
